Practice Spotlight – Purchase Park Orthodontics

Each quarterly newsletter, we like to include a success story highlighting one of our contracted network providers, and how they work closely with us to better serve UnitedHealthcare members. This quarter, we’re featuring Purchase Park Orthodontics.

Dr. Arthur Kim established Purchase Park Orthodontics in 2023 with a commitment to trust, integrity, quality and care. The Westchester, New York practice welcomes patients between the ages of 7–99, including individuals with special needs. Purchase Park participates in commercial, Medicare and Medicaid plans, aiming to offer cost-effective dental care in Port Chester, Purchase and other Westchester areas, regardless of coverage.

Dr. Kim attributes much of his success providing quality care to keeping up with the latest technologies. He believes it is important to take continuing education courses and adopt new technologies for better care. This adaptability to novel approaches allows him to provide his patients with innovative treatments. “We had a 17-year-old patient with a severe posterior cross-bite [who was] too old for a traditional expander. This case would often require jaw surgery, but we were able to do expansion on her upper arch with Invisalign,” he said. Dr. Kim's creative, innovative approach resulted in less invasive care and cost savings for the patient.
