New fields added in My Practice Profile

We recently added new race and ethnicity demographic fields for you to update in your My Practice Profile. Collecting race and ethnicity information allows us to better understand the diversity of our provider network,  supports specific state regulatory requirements to include network provider's race and ethnicity, and helps our members find care that meets their cultural needs.

Is this information required?

Adding this information is completely voluntary. We only collect race and ethnicity data from health care professionals on a voluntary basis.

We don’t prioritize or tier health care professionals based on race or ethnicity. We also don’t assign members using this data and it has no impact on rates, fees or claim payments.
