Florida Medicaid: HearUSA to begin serving MMA members in July

Effective July 1, 2024, the UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Florida will begin using HearUSA for its managed medical assistance (MMA) plan. Benefits for MMA Medicaid members include routine exams and hearing aids.

Note: This change extends only to MMA Medicaid members of UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Florida and does not apply to other states or plans.

What this means for you

As a provider in the UnitedHealthcare Community Plan network, you can begin referring Medicaid patients to HearUSA in June. If you’re already in network as a provider with HearUSA, the change for your patients will be seamless.
