My Practice Profile updates make demographic changes easier

Includes roster uploads and specialty interface overhaul

We’ve recently made some updates to help you submit changes about your care provider demographics in My Practice Profile. Here’s what you can expect to see: 

New “Roster Upload” feature

Groups with 10 or more providers can now submit rosters through the tool using the “Roster Upload” tab instead of submitting by email: 

• Users can submit either full rosters or add/term/changes using the UnitedHealthcare-supplied template
• File specifications and limitations: 
  • Only accepts Microsoft Excel, version 2007 or higher (.xlsx) file type
  • Maximum file size of 20 MB per file (if a file exceeds this limit, users can split the file into smaller segments, keeping the header line of each file, and reupload)
  • Maximum of 1 file
• Users can track roster upload status using the built-in “Submission status tracker” beginning the next business day (located on the Roster Upload page)
  • Submissions take an average of 20 business days to complete

Secondary maintenance overhauled

You can now easily enter in a primary and secondary specialty; you can also change a new or existing secondary provider to be the primary specialty.
