As of Jan. 1, 2025, Bakery, Confectionary, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers (BCTGM) Local 53 and Local 2179 UAW Health & Welfare Fund members will have access to the UnitedHealthcare Choice Plus network.

To view benefits, eligibility, prior authorization requirements and claim updates for these new members in the state of Georgia, please visit the UMR Provider Portal.
You don’t need to take any action during this transition. You can recognize BCTGM Local 53 & Local 2179 UAW Health & Welfare Fund members by looking at the following member ID card:

BCTGM Local 53 & Local 2179 UAW Health & Welfare Fund members will have access to the following Choice Plus network benefits:
- The national UnitedHealthcare network of health care professionals and facilities
- Medical and mental health utilization management (UM) services, including notification, initial determination and inpatient care management
- The UnitedHealthcare Behavioral Health network and mental health, behavioral health and substance use disorders UM services
