Coordination of benefits reconsideration review

If your coordination of benefits (COB) reconsideration request is denied, you can email us to verify COB before submitting a formal appeal. Please email mo_cns_operations_escalations@uhc.com. 

Include the following information in your email:

• Member name
• Member ID number
• Date of service
• Reason for reconsideration
• Reconsideration reference/ticket number
• Any supporting documentation

Review COB

Confirm the primary insurer and check updates anytime using the UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal.

• Go to UHCprovider.com and click Sign In at the top-right corner
• Enter your One Healthcare ID
• Select Eligibility tab
• Enter the search criteria
• Click “Verify Eligibility” button
• Scroll down to view Additional Coverage and Coordination of Benefits

Access the Eligibility and Benefits course for more information about using COB in the portal. To directly access the COB section, go to Menu, then Policies Information Features or click the Search bar and type “Coordination of Benefits.”
