Authorized vs. ordered products

There are parameters to follow to ensure your patient receives the product they need to improve their hearing. 

Invoice must match what is authorized to avoid disruptions and potential differing costs to the member. To help ensure an accurate, correct order, be sure you:

  • Order only the products that have been authorized
  • Verify the invoices and products shipped from the manufacturer match what was authorized prior to fitting patients

If products other than what was authorized are received, whether it was due to an ordering error or the manufacturer's shipping error, you should:

  • Send the incorrect products back to the manufacturer
  • Place a new order with the correct, authorized products

Please note, professional fees paid to providers are based on the products that were authorized, not what was ordered from or sent by the manufacturer.
