Arizona: Appointment availability standards

The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) requires providers comply with the state appointment availability standards. The appointment availability standards apply to primary care providers (PCP), specialists, dental, maternity and behavioral health providers.

Please make sure your staff is aware of the AHCCCS appointment availability standards.
