In a recent study of our provider directory, we discovered that the data we’re given by organizations is often inaccurate. Specifically, we found that providers were no longer with the practice, listed with the wrong specialty, had outdated/wrong contact information or were no longer accepting new patients.
As a result, members are unable to make their desired appointments and potentially may lead to increased cost of care.
To help ensure your patients can easily find and get the care they need, it’s important that your provider information is up to date. Please review your provider data and ensure that you’re only listing and attesting to the locations where your providers regularly treat patients. Please do not list all providers at all locations.
