Contracting with UnitedHealthcare March Vision Care for Medicaid

February 2025

If you are providing services to our Medicaid members, it is essential that you and all providers rendering services in your office, are contracted with UnitedHealthcare | March Vision Care for Medicaid. If you or a provider in your office is not contracted with us for Medicaid, please visit Join Our Network for more information.

State Medicaid program enrollment

In addition to contracting with UnitedHealthcare | March Vision Care, you must also be enrolled in your state's Medicaid program. This enrollment is a mandatory step to validate your eligibility to provide services to our Medicaid members within your state.

Non-compliance

Please be aware that failure to meet these requirements may result in the denial of claims. To avoid any disruptions in service or payment delays, we urge you to:

  • Verify your Medicaid contract status with UnitedHealthcare | March Vision Care
  • Confirm your enrollment in your state's Medicaid program
  •  Make sure the rendering provider and billing provider on the claim are the same

Taking these steps will help ensure that you can continue to provide uninterrupted care to Medicaid members and receive timely reimbursement for your services. For more information on Medicaid enrollment and claim requirements, please review our 21st Century Cures Act Quick Reference Guide.
